Viki Brown composes your portrait by synthesizing oil paints with custom photos, using her own technique to capture your unique presence. Viki uses many modalities to create just the right effect. She discusses your personal desires for this portrait and the setting that suits your liking.

This original oil painting will be on 13"x19" Arches Archival Museum quality paper, and will be sent to you, ready for framing. The cost for the painting is $550. A deposit of half of the total is due upon your agreement. The total is due after your approval and before mailing it to you. Payment can be made with a check upon clearance or credit card. After contacting Viki Brown, you will be setting up an appointment to meet at your desired location or her art studio. For Weddings, please see her "St John Wedding Portrait Heirloom" on her website. She will take a series of photos, with your suggestions included. Then your information of email, address, phone number and credit card information will be due. All art work may be used on her website unless otherwise noted.

Viki will then email photos to you promptly. She will communicate her ideas as to what she feels would be a suitable compostion. You will be able to make the final decision as to what suits you best. The she paints your portrait as described above, and emails the artists' proof for your approval before mailing it to you.

About the Artist....

Viki Brown trained with famous artists' at Disney world and painted pastel portraits as her specialty. Her father who is a professional photographer, owned his own portrait studio, and at the time, took only black and white photos. Viki's mother painted them with oil paint. Her father was also a photographer for "The Ringling Brothers". Viki has many of these precious photos from 60 years ago.

Then Viki decided to sail around the world painting its' glory. She sailed into St. John in 1980 on her 40 foot traditional cutter rig sailboat. Being awestruck by the beauty of the majestic islands surrounded by crystal clear water, she painted its' splendor. Viki was seen in the Cruz Bay Park quite often painting portraits of people. Her artwork is internationally known and she enjoys painting the unique dynamics of humans, animals, seascapes, landscapes and dreams. Viki and her artistic husband of 18 years, built a house in the rainforest, with their daughter, creating two art studios to enjoy.
